May 23, 2020 - Building a Waste Basket

We setup a home office for my wife so she could work from home during the COVID pandemic. She needed a small waste basket, so rather than venture out to a store or order something online, I decided to build one out of wood.

My father-in-law was a logger and used to bring home scraps from the mill to use as firewood. After he died we collected the last of his wood collection and have built a variety of projects from it. I still have a few pieces of his cedar that have been too small to do much with, so this waste basket was a perfect project to use some of it.
