My mom had a stroke in May 2017 and was forced to move to an assisted
living home. We started making improvements slowly since we weren't sure
if mom was going to be able to move back home. As the months passed we
realized this wasn't a possibility. Her house was a four hour round trip
drive from our home so we were only able to work on it a few hours two or
three days a week. I put on nearly 19,000 miles driving back and forth to
her house. It was a lot of work but we finally sold the house on April
20, 2018. It has been a long and difficult journey but we are all happy
to have this step behind us.
