My daughter needed more space for clothes, so we
decided to clear out her armoire and turn it into closet space. This
meant the games and puzzles that had been in the armoire now had to move
to a cabinet I built for her years ago. Of course, the cabinet was
currently filled with videos and CD's, so that meant I had build new
shelves to hold those.
Spare Parts
Like most woodworkers, I usually have lumber sitting
around in the shop. Luckily I had a full sheet of 3/4" plywood for the
shelves, 1/4" plywood cutoffs for the backs, and poplar boards I could use
for the front edge banding. I even had leftover cans of stain and
polyurethane in the shop.
